Several hours before Xbox’s Halo 3 release in 2007, I was a 19 year old college student preparing to work a gig I had booked via Craigslist. As midnight approached, my task was to engage with some of the most avid video gamers who lined the block of an Orlando Game Stop location. Myself and another brand ambassador were onsite representing Mountain Dew; who had created a new product coinciding with the popular video game release. We each had a container filled with a few gallons of the new drink, appropriately named Game Fuel, strapped to our backs. We moved up and down the crowded line talking to anxious consumers while offering unlimited 4 ounce samples. The entire middle of the night excursion lasted a mere hours and was my introduction to the experiential marketing industry.
Since then, I’ve traveled extensively across the country representing more than 50 brands at high profile sporting events, festivals, concerts and trade shows. I help companies create memorable brand experiences with their consumers through direct engagement, lead generation, sales and hospitality. I’m well versed in sponsorship brand activations, event management, logistics, client services, vendor management, relationship building, public relations and communications.
I also build websites and consult with various companies on brand development; among other entrepreneurial endeavors.
